I've made some changes, and taking charge on things.

But haven't been prepared for such drastic changes 4 days in to the new year, not since mom's stroke back in June '09.

so... around this time, this week & 10 years ago? what were you doing? packing away food, squirreling away enough cash as the OMG world was gonna go under. can't believe we're completing the 1st decade of the '00s.

• it's very disconcerting to hear the roar of jet engines this far out in the hood (Vis Valley, yo!) from the Blue Angels over Ess Eff. Back in high school, you could see the planes fly over the Western Addition but to hear the roar of the planes in light of watching LOST and 9/11... eesh

• ever had a day where things, objects and/or people were in your way just to get to where you need to be/go? yeap, having/had one of em today.

• oh, and a Big Eff Ewe to those driving on the peninsula betwixt SFO and 92/101 interchange. nice to know you are doing well, what with your right lane passing at 80 mph and gas at or about $3/gal. speed up why don't cha and don't let those that need to exit, exit. Eff Ewe.

This is confirmed now, as this week's Tarjay ad is up online. Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! It's time to poo or get off the pot; $249 Pro... $50 more for elite. Grrr. And I got paid on Friday! Gah!

Thanks to Liam celtcub, as he wrote up about this earlier this summer. Black or pink, I chose the more demure black. Can't wait to try it out!

August starts tomorrow. where did the time go? and the weather is perfect for winter. no matter, it's really a cold summer until our fall hot weather, which is typical. can't talk for our south bay friends, they seem to swelter at 80s-90s while we get cloud coverage and 50s-60s plus foggy days. as usual, will be working throughout the weekend. hopefully the weather will be nice for that.

so via AdFreak and TVSquad websites comes a link to this public service ad. I'm glad it's a BrightCove embed, as I cringe when video auto-plays. But reading the comments from the two websites, I'm kinda scared in watching it. Anyone care to break it down for scared-ole-me?
